ON THE BOARDS: San Juan Islands Family Compound

The client has asked us to expand a family compound in the San Juan Islands to include two additional guest houses for close family. The houses use the local materials of stone and cedar to integrate with the existing compound buildings. The vision of the compound is one of harmony with nature as expressed in local materials and careful integration of the structures with their sites.
