Sullivan Conard

PORTFOLIO: PRIMARY: Sammamish Residence

Overlooking Lake Sammamish, east of Seattle, this house grew out of a collaboration with an owner who has a strong interest in early American architecture. The design creates a courtyard on the entry side between the house and the sloping landscape. The south side opens to the views and light with generous windows and a covered porch. A barn-like garage is accessed through a portal, which allows the doors to be hidden from view.
