PORTFOLIO: RETREATS: Clam Shack

Set at the edge of a remnant orchard on the shores of Orcas Island, this cabin was designed to harmonize with an adjacent cottage, the last survivor of an early 1900s fishing camp. The stone chimney and terrace, a muted material palette, and simple architectural detailing ground the house to its exquisite site.
